I never thought I could enjoy owning diesel car, until I bought this 2009 Crystal Black Pearl Mk8 with 2.2 i-DTEC engine. It’s absolutely fantastic daily runner, very reliable, comfortable… And it’s still Accord, which means – it’s gorgeous and handles very well on twisty roads, even though it’s rather heavy.

This is definitely one of my favourite cars to work on and soon it will be back in daily duties. I covered over 60k miles in this baby and I still love driving it. Even though it’s already 16 years old, it doesn’t really feel like it, especially with few small mods that make it more useful day-to-day. My plans for this whip are pretty simple – just rebuild it completely and have a nice executive-saloon daily workhorse 🙂
